Retailer Recommendation: Hearing from our customers about the Wayfarers Arcade.
Finding the right premises is as important as having the right product. When we decided to become a Rohan stockist some eight years ago it was very important that we found premises that was a good fit with the brand. Rohan has an enviable reputation for quality and performance and we very much wanted the premises to reflect this.
We spent some considerable time searching the area for a location that we felt would provide the best facility and we kept coming back to the Wayfarers Arcade. It was important that we found a location that was predominantly occupied by other quality independent retailers rather than run of the mill “High Street Stores”.
When we met with the management of Lord Street Properties we were impressed that unlike many retail centres this was privately owned and the management have a genuine interest in the welfare of the tenants. In addition there is also a tenants association and a working party that meets with Lord Street Properties management team on a regular basis to discuss the various activities planned for the Arcade along with any domestic matters that need to be reviewed. It is refreshing that unlike the majority of property companies the management are very sensitive to the current commercial climate.
Wayfarers Arcade is without question a beautiful building with a tremendous heritage and it provides a superb environment and I would without any reservations recommend it to any prospective business.
