The Artists at Wayfarers Exhibition

Born in Beckenham, Kent. Schooled at Oak Lodge Primary, West Wickham and Ravenswood then went on to study art at Croydon College of Art. Worked in theatres as a scenic artist and stage crew for 25 years. Currently paints full time and shows his work regularly.
Bob was educated at Shawlands Academy, Glasgow and attended Glasgow School of Art and London School of Furniture. He has worked mainly as a scenic artist since college and is currently resident scenic artist at the Southport Little Theatre.
David was educated at Oak College and Hayes School, Kent. He worked with Tim Feltham at the Churchill Theatre and then went into local government. He now divides his time between looking after his two children and painting at his home in Brockley, Kent.
Sue studied murals at Glasgow school of Art and theatre design at Croydon College of Art. She has worked for 25 years as a scenic artist, mainly in London and also as a senior lecturer at the Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and St Martin’s Summer School. She is still working as a freelance scenic artist and visting lecturer.
Anton uses his art to portray anything he recognises as beautiful, concentrating on architecture, land and waterscapes in eclectic styles. His work comprises of multitudes of small marks and has been featured in exhibition at the Mall Gallery and Bankside Gallery and various venues around the UK and Europe.
Colin attended Eastbourne College of Art and went on to become a scenic artist in stage, TV and film. He later worked for the British Council placing exhibitions all over the world and then as events organiser for the John Lewis Partnership. Now retired he paints and print-makes full time.
