4th September - Christmas Card Making Demonstration

There will be a Christmas Card Making Demonstration at The Craft Studio in Wayfarers Arcade that will give Inspiration, Techniques and Top Tips with a qualified 'do crafts' designer from 10.30 am to 16.30pm

6th September - 19th September - Meols Cop High School

There will be an exhibition of Artwork by Meols Cop High School students. The exhibition will be open from 6th to 19th September.

2nd October - Birkdale Orpheus - The Likes of Us

The Birkdale Orpheus Society will be showcasing their newest production, The Likes of Us, the first musical ever written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, within the Wayfarers Arcade on Saturday 2nd October from 3.30 pm.

10th October - Pearl of Africa Children's Choir

At 3.00p.m. The internationally acclaimed Pearl of Africa Children's Choir presents an evocative mix of traditional Ugandan song and dance. Their performance is a high octane mix of music, dance and drumming with beautiful spirituals and heart-felt dramatisation. With infectiious rhythm, enthusiastic vocals and dynamic dance, their performance will fill the arcade with a magical atmosphere guaranteed to get feet tapping.

These orphaned or destitute children are ambassadors for thousands of similar children back home in Uganda. They visit the UK to raise awareness and the desperately needed funds to help sustain and improve the standard of eduction, healthcare and living standard in their schools.
