Kernaghan Books

Kernaghan Books is one of the most renowned and popular antiquarian and fine book shops in the region.

Established in Wayfarers Arcade in 1985, Kernaghan's stocks more than 20,000 books on its shelves, ranging from vintage children's books and rare editions to fine bindings and local history.

Its more valuable titles are housed in the Book Room, an eye-catching Edwardian style library, complete with fireplace, leather reading chairs and wall to wall bookcases.

Most subjects are covered, from travel, natural history and literature, to transport, exploration and family history, while a book search service is available to locate most publications.
