SANTA IS COMING TO TOWN!

Wayfarers Shopping Arcade is a magical place to visit at Christmas. People travel long distances to call in and marvel at how beautiful it looks. For many a visit to Wayfarers is one of the highlights of their Christmas celebrations. Every year there is a very special grotto which is run by Southport Lions Club with all proceeds going to charity. Children have the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his own little wooden hut set amongst beautifully decorated Christmas trees where they can talk in confidence and let him know what they are hoping he will deliver to them on Christmas Eve. Wayfarers grotto launch is to take place and 12 noon on SATURDAY 5th December and it is going to be great fun! Neil Newton is going to compere the event and visitors will have the opportunity to meet two of Southport Theatre’s panto stars. Not only that but the young people from So Talented will also be performing a couple of Christmas song and dance routines. It is going to be a half hour of great fun and then at the end the great man himself will appear and take up residence in his own little hut ready to meet all the little children who want to see and talk to him this Christmas – so don’t miss it.

Father Christmas will be in his grotto in December as follows: 5th 12.30 – 4pm 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd 11am – 4pm. 24th 11am – 2pm.
