Shoppers can meet some very special rescue animals. Woodlands Animal Sanctuary which is based on Sandy Lane in Holmeswood, is a charitable trust and was created in February 2005 in order to care for unwanted and neglected farm animals, small domestic animals and species of native wildlife. Many animal shelters cater for domestic animals, but very few cater for smaller domestic animals, birds, farm animals, wildlife and equines. So come along to Wayfarers and meet some of our residents and maybe even adopt one of them.
